Rides: Every ride you get on at the Ferrari World will leave your adrenaline rushing and your lungs hoarse from all the screaming. Here’s a little sneak peek at what awaits you inside the park, should you decide to visit it.
The Formula Rossa is without doubt the fastest roller coaster in the world. Reaching speeds of 240 kilometers (20,800 hp) per hour in just about 5 seconds, the coaster takes its riders to heights of 52 meters before plummeting back to the earth and whizzing past several chicanes. Obviously not a ride for the faint hearted person!
Another comparatively smaller but still large roller coaster is the Ferrari F430 Spider that is filled to the core with twisted parallel tracks and hair raising hair pin bends. Literatura y libros
The G-Force ride is something that needs to be experienced to believe in. The ride consists of a transparent crystal glazed funnel that is attached to the roof of the building. Enter the funnel and in moments you will find yourself shooting out of it at rocket speed to reach a height of 62 meters (the highest point in the island).
What’s Ferrari without races? And truly enough, the theme park has adapted its central theme of racing into a few really cool and state of the art simulators. One of these involves a flume ride through the heart of a 12 cylinder Ferrari 599 engine that will have you traveling through inner chambers, giant pistons, tight squeezes and plenty of passageways before shooting out at the flume end.
Bella Italia, also called as Little Italy is a miniature version of the original city with landscapes, landmarks, buildings and racing venues created at a 1:20 scale of the original.
Vintage 1958 Ferrari 250 California cars would take you on automated tours through picturesque landmarks like Portofino, the Amalfi coast; and Monza racetrack (which comes complete with the Alpine mountain range as the backdrop and 40,000 hand planted miniature trees).
The Made in Maranello factory tour enables visitors to have up front and close looks at how Ferrari cars are made. The theme park also screens a movie everyday at Cinema Maranello.
Called Coppa di Sicilia, the film reveals the true story of Ferrari’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, including the owner’s personal accounts of how he moved on from racing to creating one of the largest and most successful automotive companies in the world.
Everything’s either new or better than the best at the Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. Plan your visit today and have a whale of a time with your family and friends.
