Rockport: Situated in Texas, the quaint little beach side town of Rockport is a winner with families and couples alike.


Offering visitors plenty of interesting attractions to tour and recreational activities to partake in, Rockport is also located close to the Aransas National Wildlife Refugee which is frequented by thousands of cranes in addition to several other birds and animals.

Visitors to the town can also choose to travel to Matagorda Island which is located nearby and offers plenty of picturesque beaches. The town also houses a 1000 year old tree which the locals fondly call as ” The Big Tree”.

Located in Vancouver, the beach town of Chincoteague is in fact a small island that lies near the Virginia Coast. The island acts as a gateway to the Assateague Island National Seashore which is estimated to cover an area of nearly 37 miles.


The island is a natural reserve and is home to several animals and birds. These include herons, foxes, wild ponies and woodpeckers. The island is connected to the mainland by the Route 175 Bridge and can be reached by both cars and boats.

Lubec is also located close to Campobello Island, an international park that is said to house the former summer home of Roosevelt.

Located in Oregaon, Gearhart is a beach town that is known more for its beach side parties, hiking trails and antique shops than for its pristine beaches. The town lies just north of the more crowded Cannon Beach in the same area. The beaches get crowded with party goers and star gazers as night falls.


Santa Cruz: Known more for its star studded attraction, the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster in the Beach Broadwalk Amusement Park, Santa Cruz in California is a very popular beach town which is frequented by hordes of locals and tourists, especially surfers every year.

Among several interesting tourist attractions and landmarks in the town, the more notable include the Pleasure Point Surfers Zone, the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and the Natural Bridges State Beach (home to several seals).

Rehoboth: Visit Rehoboth in Denver and it will be like walking into a classic American town. The town is one among the very few places in the US where you can buy icecreams and salt water taffy from the broad walk, enjoy uninterrupted beach sessions (at the Dewey Beach), visit places like the Biggs Museum of American Art or dance away into the night at the Shag or the Rusty Rudder.

Boca Grande: Situated in Florida, the beach town of Boca Grande is located along the Gulf of Mexico and is a hidden jewel. The town reflects the atmosphere of age old Florida with streets named with century old titles like Damnificare.
