Celebs Who Had Very Public Meltdowns

It could be called one of the most shocking celebrity videos ever. The incident happened in 2014 after Solange Knowles, her sister Beyoncé, and Bey’s husband Jay-Z attended the Met Gala in New York City. So what occurred then? Oh, nothing much, except Knowles physically attacking her brother-in-law Jay-Z in an elevator. It all went down after a Met Gala afterparty, TMZ reported. Leaked footage showed all three celebs getting on the elevator and Knowles punching and kicking the rap legend repeatedly.

Beyoncé can be seen standing to the side, like she was in shock, while a security person pried Knowles off Jay. But there’s at least one moment when Bey stands in between her younger sister and her husband, but it didn’t help, because Knowles continued to go after him. Now, why the security person kept letting go of Knowles could be easily questioned. But Jay remained calm the whole time, and after the attack, everyone walked off the elevator as if nothing happened. “As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” the family later said in a statement. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.”
