Assam State Museum is located in the heart of Guwahati and has an impressive collection of archaeological, ivory, terracotta, tribal and historical objects which interest the tourists to a great extent. Apart from these attractions, botanical gardens and temples are the other places you can visit. An international airport at Guwahati has many flights coming in and going out of the city, making air travel very convenient. You can also use the national highways, which are well-connected with the other cities of India. Or you can simply take a train from any major city of India and come to Assam.
