A balanced and healthy diet with small frequent meals taken at regular intervals goes a long way in combating drowsiness and keeping your energy levels steady. You can also talk to your doctor if you experience excessive sleepiness. Many times pregnant women suffer from anemia which may be the cause for increased drowsiness. Your doctor will be able to know this and prescribe iron supplements if you are anemic.
