Grand National Golf Course

 

The Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Grand National Golf Course happens to be one of the best championship golf courses in the entire country and covers over 600 acres of Lake Saugahatchee in Opelika.

Housing 54 holes, out of which 32 hug the lake shores, the Grand National Golf Course has a number of courses which have bagged top awards in several prestigious publications. Accordingly, the Links course made it to the 2nd spot in the ‘New Public Course in America’ list published by Golf Digest in 1993. The Lakes course along with the Links course is also a regular feature in the ‘America’s Top 50 Affordable Courses’ list published by Golf Digest.

Apart from the Grand National Golf Course, Opelika has a series of other golf courses that allow visitors to enjoy a game or two. These include the Auburn Links (located in Mill Creek), the Auburn University Club, the Indian Pines Golf Club and the Moores Mill Golf Club.

Saugahatchee Country Club
