This picturesque little town clings dramatically on the cliffs above the Amalfi Coast overlooking the blue waters of the Gulf of Salerno. The nearest airport is at Naples – 67 km from Ravello and 60 from Amalfi. You can hire a taxi and drive along the nerve-wracking Amalfi Coast road that gets congested during high season. Traveling by bus from the airport to Amalfi and hiring a taxi from there is a better option.

Amalfi Coast is famous for its ceramics tradition. Ravello has some excellent shops selling exquisite tableware, tiles, tabletops and decoration pieces.
