S.S. Yongala Wreck, Australia

Yongala in Australia is a small town. Yongala has not thrived as a town since it was declared a town way back in 1876. Though the town has remained as it was but from a traveler’s point of view, it has still attractions which can be a delightful sight.

Take example of the historical building of the Globe hotel, it is still a delightful sight to hold. Around it are well maintained parks and there is the war memorial which draws a traveler towards this smallish town. Yongala gives a feeling of a town which was set to be a big city, but for some reasons it could not.

Taking a walk around this town will be a pleasure for any visitor. A visitor can collect information from the Globe hotel in the main street about the places to visit in and around Yongala.

The hotel is also a good shopping centre. Looking at the historical buildings of Yongala will bring a sense of history to the visitors. There are interesting looking buildings spread over the town of Yongala.

The Town makes you return to the older times but the best and most wonderful experience is the diving experience at the SS Yongala wreck. Elchat Directorio de chats en español

This dive site will transport you to a different world altogether in a very short time. It’s a dream come true for all dive lovers. Once you dive you experience a number of things inside the water.  You see a variety of sea creatures.

There are wonderful and strong creatures all around. There are huge marble rays, giant trevally and barracuda. There are giant gropers, turtles, sea snakes. The dive is just amazing and it is an experience which you will carry throughout life.

For making your diving experience even better and cozier, there is an on site lodge for divers.  You can relax and dive at the SS Yongala wreck. This wreck dive is understood to be the best in Australia and most probably in the world.
