When you enter the zoo have a look at the “Don’t Miss” section where the most important events of the day are listed. The most popular exhibits in the zoo are the Indonesian Jungle and Monkey Island. You can enjoy the flora and fauna and play with the cute lemurs.
The kids will enjoy the Children Area and Children Zoo which is actually an artificially built farm made especially for the children. The kids can play with many domestic animals like rabbits, sheep, pigs and ponies. There are also some slot machines where kids can buy granules and feed the animals.
Entrance Fees
The admission fees for adults are 150 CZK and for students and senior citizens, it is 100 CZK. Family tickets are also available at 450 CZK.
Opening Hours

Getting There
You can take the metro to “Nadrazi Holesovice”. From there you can hop on bus no. 112 to the terminus. There is also a Zoobus which goes the same route as bus 112 and it not stop unnecessarily. The bus is totally free for everyone. There is also an LCD TV within the bus which shows movies or gives information about the zoo.
The zoo is around 3 km from the city center but it has the entire natural environment like lush river valleys, the rock cliffs and the long Rolling Meadows. The zoo presents a beautiful sight to the visitors. There is also a cable car which helps the visitors to go up the slope.
Walking around the zoo is not very easy and a map will not really help you in this matter. The zoo has a large collection of penguins, sea lions, lions, tigers and elephants. There are grazers at the top of the hill which looks beautiful. The view from the top is also spectacular. There is every reason to visit the Prague Zoo. And you will not be disappointed once you reach there.
